OUR TERMS OF SERVICE
At Mama Mae’s Cupcakes, we take pride not only in the aesthetic quality of our cakes, but knowing that their delicious flavour comes from using only the finest ingredients that we can get our hands on! ALL our cakes are made from scratch in small batches to ensure safety and quality.
To ensure we can maintain a consistently high standard we must follow a strict terms of service. Below are a few which our customers much be aware of and acknowledge before ordering from Mama Mae’s Cupcakes.
Our daily opening hours are 10 am – 4 pm. We are closed ALL UK public holidays except were specified.
Online and email orders are still available outside of these times. However, please note online and emailed orders made during the weekend and during public holidays, will only be answered and confirmed OUR next official working day.
Your order and our confirmation of the order, are considered by us to set out a contractual agreement, which you are free to accept or decline.*
Please check all details are accurate and correct, and that you are ok with our terms of service before placing an order. Once your order has been received and confirmed, a ‘contract’ shall come into existence between us and you will henceforth be bound these terms of services.
If you do not receive a reply or confirmation email from us within 36 hours, you must contact us asap; as your submission has not arrived or has arrived incomplete and therefore our automated system has marked your submission as invalid.
If placing an order (significantly) in advance of your prefered delivery date, we require a 50% deposit to secure your order. The remaining balance is due at least 1 week prior to delivery. Of course, you are more than welcome to pay the full amount upfront.
As all our cakes are baked in the same kitchen where nuts, gluten and dairy are present, we can not guarantee 100% that our products are nut, gluten or dairy free. We do try our best to make an effort to accommodate these allergies, however please let us know if you have any severe allergies that we should be aware of and use your discretion when placing an order.
We require payment of your order at least 24 hours before your agreed date of delivery. Your order will not be processed or delivered until full payment is received.
We tend to require at least 48 hours notice for large and intricate orders, in these instances, a rush fee MAY be incurred.
Any major changes to your order before the required delivery date may incur a variable fee, to accommodate your new changes. Please provide as much notice as possible to avoid any extra charges.
All of our goods are packaged with care and attention, and we cannot be held responsible for products lost or damaged after they have left our premises.
Once delivered or transferred to the customer/delivery recipient, our responsibility as a seller ceases and this warranty does not apply to any defect in the products provided arising from wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any act of a third party, your failure to follow our instructions, or any alteration you carry out.
All of our goods are individually handmade, and therefore may not always appear exactly as in photographs or descriptions. Any illustrations on our website are published to provide you with only an idea of the product or service described.
A full refund will be issued for any cancellation made formally in writing more than 2 full weeks prior to your required delivery date for large/wedding order and at least 48 hours before delivery for standard orders.
If for any reason you wish to cancel your order after this period, we will offer you a full refund minus the cost of any expenses acquired while processing and preparing your order.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to complete your order due to personal circumstance or otherwise, we will offer you a full refund. Moreover, as our goods are food products, we are unable to issue a refund once your order has been completed.
